The capsule body, developed by Greiner Packaging, preserves the freshness of the coffee and is compatible with conventional coffee capsule machines. This solution offers consumers a more sustainable option without compromising on quality or convenience. 

Achieving a high recyclability rate of the packaging’s cardboard and plastic does not depend on proper separation by the end consumer since it now happens completely independently before the used packaging reaches the recycling facility.

Injection-molded cups that until now were made out of PP can now also be offered in up to 100% r-PET – an advantage of which is as much as a four-fold reduction in CO2e emissions compared to other materials.
